(More customer reviews)I tried using this adapter and had numerous issues.First, the original adapter is a polarized plug with means that it has to be inserted into the socket according to the size of the prongs.The plug end on this adapter did not indicate a polarized plug. When I plugged the unit into the wall outlet and started up my Wii my television was unable to accept the scan frequency coming out of my Wii. I did manage to get it working once (after sorting out the polarization) but found the DC converter to be extremely susceptible to electrical noise which distorted the television image.I tried moving it away from my other electrical stuff like DVD and Amplifier which made it a bit better.The next day the television again couldn't read the scan frequency coming out of my Wii.Original adapter...no problem.Bottom line is that I wouldn't waste my money on this item!
