(More customer reviews)I'm not sure what the other reviewer's problem was, but mine works flawlessly. I'll admit that I haven't tested the Nintendo 64 port, but the NES, Super NES and Genesis ports work perfectly.A nice feature (perhaps just incidental) is that you can leave multiple controllers plugged in at once and all of them will work -- no need to unplug an NES controller to use the SNES controller and so on.I imagine most people are interested in this for those three ports anyway (the GameCube controller seems like it would be adequate for the Wii's N64 virtual console games).If I am able to edit this review, I will test this later with an N64 controller - I have some around I just haven't needed to use them for anything lately.
I have been using this on my Gamecube with Sonic Mega Collection, Namco Museum 50th Anniversary, and Midway Arcade Treasures 1 + 2.I have also tested it with the SD Media Launcher which allows you to run emulators for NES/SNES/Genesis/TG16/etc, and it feels just like I'm playing the original systems.It will perform identically on a Wii console, as the GameCube-compatible hardware (controller ports, etc.) is exactly the same in the Wii as it is on the GameCube.
Again, it's perfect as far as I'm concerned.
